WHO WE ARE
The California Association of Dental Plans (CADP) is the non‐profit trade association focused exclusively on the dental benefits industry in California including dental PPOs, dental HMOs, discount dental plans and dental indemnity products. CADP is California’s only organization for Knox-Keene and Department of Insurance licensed dental plans. CADP was organized in 1985 to promote, through education and collective action, the mutual interests of the managed dental benefits industry.
Dental is Different
Dentistry is an important part of healthcare. Dental care, though, is different from medical care. These differences must be reflected in plan design, benefits and legislation so that costly, inappropriate regulation does not result in employers dropping dental benefits.
